Ingredients

  • Apple cider pulp

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. After straining the mash to make apple cider, discard the orange peels and large spices. Puree the remaining pulp, then pour it into a pan.

  2. Add your spices and simmer on medium-low heat for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and darkens due to caramelization. Transfer to a container. Spread on a biscuit, a scone, or just enjoy it straight.
